  • Die-struck lapel pins have the classic lapel pin look, featuring raised and recessed metal

0:20 Dimensions and Textures:

  • Die-struck lapel pins are perfect for representing a multitude of sandblasted textures to add extra complexity to your lapel pin.

0:30 Making the Lapel Pin:

  • Our lapel pin sizes are measured by their longest side.

  • This lapel pin for example, is 1.5”

0:42 Plating Options:

  • Once the lapel pin is die struck into the custom shape to accommodate the requested design, it is then electroplated with a surface coat of metal that you choose.

  • There are seven plating options to choose from. Three are available for free, and the other four will require an additional cost.

  • Gold| Nickel | Copper are the three options included in the cost.

  • Dyed Black | Antique Gold | Antique Silver | Antique Copper is an additional run charge per pin.

1:17 Backing Options:

  • Choice of six backing options

  • Butterfly Clutch | Rubber Clutch

  • These two options are included in the cost

  • Butterfly Clutch, also known as Military Clutch, is the default backing option.

  • Rubber Clutch is often used when the back of the pin is going to touch skin

  • Safety Pin Backing | Tie Tack Backing | Magnet Backing | Extra Butterfly Clutch

  • These backing options incur an additional run charge.

  • Safety pin backing keeps the pin in place and prevents it from spinning.

  • Tie-Tack backing, commonly known as a jewelry clutch, is one of the most secure backing choices. It is a lock backing that holds the pin in place and can only be removed by releasing the spring.

  • Another common backing type is magnet backing, often used to prevent holes in clothing.

  • An extra butterfly clutch is used when the pin is too large or off balance to give it stability.

2:44 Packaging Options:

  • All of our lapel pins come individually polybagged.

  • Other options are available for an additional cost.

  • Acrylic boxes, which are available in a variety of sizes.

  • We offer fully customizable backing cards with single or multiple pins attached. Quotes are given upon request.
